      Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, you can book directly. If you have already seen a doctor, bring along any scans, reports or letters. A referral is only required for WorkCover, Veterans' Affairs, CTP (third party insurance) or Medicare Chronic Disease Management plans.

What should I bring to my first consultation?

Any scan or blood test reports, a written list of medications if you take several, and your doctor's referral if you have one. Comfortable clothing helps too.

Can I claim treatments on my private health fund?

Yes. The clinic is registered with all health funds for physiotherapy, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. If your policy covers the modality, you can claim on the spot through HICAPS and just pay the gap.

      Can I claim through Medicare?

Medicare's Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan covers 5 physiotherapy consultations per calendar year with a GP referral. Consultations are not bulk-billed: you pay in full and the Medicare portion of $61.80 is refunded directly to your bank account via HICAPS.

      How can I pay?

EFTPOS is available at the clinic, so you can pay by bank card or credit card. Cash is welcome too. Health fund claims go through HICAPS on the spot.
